BIOGRAPHY
Lamine is a serial
entrepreneur with a keen interest in innovative technologies.
He has
participated in many ventures, including:
- MeshNetworks
working as a research analyst and patent publisher (a US based startup
specialized in propri etary outdoor
Wi-Fi solutions and later acquired by Motorola),
- Skipper Wireless
working as a global business development director (a Japanese startup with its
R&D based in Mountain View, California and selling a routing solution to
European telecom operators),
- Skipper Wireless
working as a global business development director (a Japanese startup with its
R&D based in Mountain View, California and selling a routing solution to
European telecom operators),
- and his latest
venture Parcsmart as a Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer. Parcsmart
combines Lamine’s passion for technology and real estate, more specifically
solving the increasing parking capacity problem in congested cities with smart
phones and IOTs.
As a hobby, Lamine
has funded and joined many tech communities. He was a pioneer in
introducing Java User Groups to the African youth with the support of Oracle,
Google, and various Telecom Operators. He is the co-founder of the
Android African Challenge from 2013 to 2015 joined by developers 25 countries
from Egypt to South Africa.
When Lamine is not working, he enjoys sports,
especially surfing the great waves of Dakar, Senegal.
